It’s been over two years since Adam played in the club\, so to say the return of the Drumcode boss is highly anticipated would be an understatement.  \n  \nSpearheading the global dance music scene\, Adam’s disciplined approach to producing and DJing\, as well as heading up Drumcode\, has allowed him to become of the world’s most acclaimed artists. Hypnotic melodies\, chunky bass and crisp percussion remain the signature sound of the Swedish star\, bringing quintessential elements of Drumcode to Bristol for one night.  \n  \nLondon-based Effy has continued to breakthrough in the UK techno scene with tingling releases on Hotflush and her own imprint EFFY Music; despite two years of club closures. Resident DJ on the Rinse FM airwaves and London club E1\, Effy has warmed up for a sonically diverse range of artists\, counting Peggy Gou and Helena Hauff. A promising musical path is already unfolding for the dedicated artist.

DESCRIPTION:Regarded as one of the founding fathers of techno music\, the legendary Jeff Mills returns to Motion to bring us a minimal yet complex set as our highly esteemed special guest. Championed for his music’s relentless pursuit of hardness and his intense\, almost industrial DJ sets\, Mills is one of the most significant figures in a long line of Detroit-bred talent to earn an international reputation. Starting out as a DJ for a public radio station in Detroit\, he then moved on to become one of the original founders of techno collective Underground Resistance alongside “Mad” Mike Banks and Robert “Noise” Hood\, before moving to New York to focus on his solo career. His discography varies from stripped down and erratic in his UR-related releases\, fusing elements of hardcore acid and industrial techno to the sparse Detroit aesthetic\, to more absract releases on his own label\, Axis Records.  \nJoining Jeff in the main room will be DJ\, Producer and Performer LSDXOXO\, known for destroying dance floors across the underground club scene with his energetic DJ sets\, amassing attention for the way that he manipulates mainstream sounds by craftily layering pop tracks and vocal samples between Baltimore club\, ghetto house\, hardcore\, electro and techno.  \nAlso gracing the main room will be Aurora Halal – Shadowy and psychedelic\, her hardware live & DJ sets have a hazy sensuality and metallic dance floor intensity that’s at turns playful\, dark\, euphoric and emotionally vulnerable.
